I'm riding in my first ever horse show tomorrow! Super excited and kinda nervous... I'm really not very good at posting still, and Hershey always wants me to have to FORCE him to go where I want him to which is hard when I'm trying to grab mane so I don't die over the jump. Yeah, yeah I know... only 18 inches, but gimme a break, I've only ridden English for about 4 hours in my entire life and only one of those hours was an actual lesson, and I'm riding in a show... I think I should get a little credit for that yes? I think I'll be satisfied if I simply manage to stay on and survive... I'm riding against 9 year olds with 3 years of training, so I'm not expecting to win anything... but practice makes perfect so... why not? I'm going to try to have video and pictures tomorrow afterward... if I live that long. Lets just hope the cowgirl doesn't make a fool of herself trying to ride English in front of a bunch of people... this should be interesting.

What Stephy said! You'll do fantastically - put some kids in their places Jess! xD
(I can't imagine anything but English riding...I'll have to try Western someday, for sure.)

Well... I didn't exactly dominate... but everyone thought I was just doing the "trot a pole" class because of my lack of experience... but hell no! Me and Hershey did the two cross rail classes, and got third and fourth... I'm just happy I survived.
