The large estate was certainly decked out for a major party. Giant surround sound speakers were everywhere, from the living room to the swimming pool. Mini fridges were everywhere, stocked with almost every type of alcohol from coolers to tequila. Having rich parents was certainly a perk, even if they weren't home. Maybe that was the reason he threw parties often, to be surrounded by peers even if they weren't even his real friends. Hell, he was almost always passed out on stranger's floors so being surrounded by them was no big deal. There were sure to be at least one hundred or more kids there, from all around the city.
He had quite a reputation around school for a numerous amount of reasons. First of all, he was a flirt. It really didn't matter if they had a boyfriend or girlfriend and it didn't matter if he had a girlfriend, if a girl walked by he would begin to hit on her. Not like it meant much because if he truly liked the girl, they would be sure to know about it. He wasn't the kind of guy to give up easily and would constantly ask the girl out eve if she turned him down numerous times. He was also a bit of a clingy boyfriend, constantly wanting to be around his girlfriend which led to a lot of his break-ups.
Another reason for his reputation was his partying life style. He didn't like to get drunk every night, even if that what everyone assumed. He only did it because that was the only way they wouldn't send him home. Cory would even sometimes pretend to be drunk just to make sure he would stay the night. When there didn't seem to be any parties going on, Cory was known to throw some of the most awesome parties. He had a pretty large house and therefore had tons of space for people to come and have a good time. He was hooked up and could get booze easily, which made him the official boot for people wanting to buy booze.
Sure he was a pretty popular boy, both with girls and the partyiers but he still felt a little unfulfilled. His parents bought him everything he wanted to make up for their absence but their expensive gifts meant nothing to him. He often donated them to charities for the less fortunate, they would make better use of it then he would. Sure, silence was appreciated once in a while but if some other kid was thrust into the silence as much as Cory was, they would constantly seek out human company too
In no time at all, the house was filled with numerous teens dancing to the music and enjoying the drinks. Cory was sure that the doorbell was going to break from the countless times it was rung, at least five kids at the door all the time. Half of the kids that showed up he didnt recognize and wasn't even sure how they had heard about his party. Hey, who didn't hear about his weekly parties? He went out to the pool and noticed that there were ten kids in his pool having chicken fights. He shook his head and walked over to one of the fridges, grabbed a Smirnoff Ice and just took in all the surroundings.

if i cut my hair, hawaii will sink
Elizabeth was getting ready to go out for the night, her father was away on business and her mother just wanted her to keep in contact with her about who she was with and what she was doing and all that other non-sense. She stepped out of the shower and wrapped a purple towel around her body. Liz checked her phone and saw she had a message from one of her friends, 'party tonight at the langely place. i'm here. get here asap' A smile had formed across the girls face, it was exactly what she need for the night. A party, and from what she had heard Cory's partys were awesome. (outfit) She started getting ready, a pair of shorts, a white tank top with beaded straps, and a pair of her diamond stud earrings that her dad got her for christmas on her 12th birthday. Elizabeth applied her make-up and did her hair. She had decided to let it dry naturally so her beautiful brown curls would appear. Lizzy put in her light silver contacts that gave her brown eyes more of a personility to match her own.
"Mom! I'm going out." She yelled as she ran down (at a curve, because their staircase is curved) the stairs. At the bottom of the steps she looked into the living room and did not see her mother there, so she walked into the kitchen. She spotted her mother, who was only an inch taller than her, 5'5'' of light brown hair to her shoulders and smiled. "Hey, I'm going to this party with Becca. Okay?" Her mother nodded her head and told her that she knew what she needed to do, and not to be home too late. She hugged her mom, grabbed her car keys and make her way to the garage. Elizabeth got into her silver mercedes-benz s class that she had also gotten as a present, this time for her 16th birthday. Her car was her baby, she loved it more than she loved her cell phone, and that was saying something.
Elizabeth lived, surprisingly, close to the house. She was there with in ten minutes after she left her house. She parked her car in a semi safe area and told the guys that were looking ather car that she would chop their manhood off and feed it to the lions at the zoo if they messed with it. Lizzy was only 5'4'' and 103 pounds, but she was not afraid to make threats. She walked off towards the house after texing her friend that she was here, and her phone went to her back pocket. Elizabeth rang the door bell, and smiled when someone, who she didn't know, opened the door and she walked in. She looked around, there were alot of kids there, most of them she didn't know, a few of them she had seen before around school or town. She walked over to the kitchen and saw some people she knew, but no Becca. Lizabeth grabbed a red cup (nothing good ever comes out of them), and made her self a whisky and coke before she made her way outside.
There were a little bit less people outside, but still a lot. Her silver-hazel eyes scanned the place for her friend. No luck. She saw some people playing in the pool, and thought about going into the house. She usually ended up in pools since she was so small and easy to handle. Then she spotted her friend and made her way to the complete other side of the pool. She kept her eyes out for big guys, like football players and what not. She sighed, hopefully nothing bad like that was going to happen tonight. She took a sip of her drink and she weaved in and out of strangers.

There certainly was numerous girls at the party and numerous came up to Cory, complimenting him on his party, his appearance and whatever else. He wasn't really sure if they like him or were just attracted to him for his money, looks or his "party boy" reputation. Sure, he got his fair share of action but never when he was sober, only when he was plastered out of his mind and didn't know any better. Usually in the morning that followed his drunken flings, he would just get up and leave without uttering a word to the girl. It wasn't that he didn't care about her, he just knew that all it had been was drunken sex and neither of them felt any feelings for the other. Alcohol could do strange things to people; it could turn nice guys into complete jerks and well-mannered girls into whores.
Sure, the constant parties had brought him quite a number of friends but he never was really sure if they were his friends because they truly liked him as a person or because of the perks that came with being his friends, like the alcohol, parties and expensive gifts. That was another reason why he wasn't in a big rush to get a girlfriend. He had dated enough girls to realize that some girls were in love with the stuff that he bought them, not him. Yeah, they cried when he ended it but not because they would miss him, they would miss the gifts. He wished that he could just meet a girl that was down to earth and would fall for the guy, not the items.
Suddenly, there was a girl that caught his eye. She was certainly pretty but Cory didn't recognize her. Perhaps she went to his school and if that was the case, maybe he should introduce himself. After all, he was the host of this party and he should make his guests feel welcome. He watched her weave through a large throng of people and made his way towards her. There was just something about her that made him want to talk to her. Maybe it was because she was new to his eyes, a shiny new toy. When he got closer to her, he noticed that she was heading towards another girl. He made his way up to them acting real mellow and cool.
"Hey, how are you girls enjoying the party?" He looked over at the other girl and flashed her one of his charming smiles that made most girls melt. "Hi there. I don't think I've had the pleasure of meeting you. My name is Cory Langley and this is my party." He swung his arms around the two girl's shoulder. He recognized the other girl, he had invited her to a few of his parties before. " Why haven't I seen you before?" He turned his attention back to the mysterious girl. "Do you go to Rosewood High?"
